About us
The story of the Wunschbaby Institut Feichtinger has its origins in the early 1980s, when Prof. Wilfried Feichtinger began his research on this subject at Vienna General Hospital (AKH). In 1982, the birth of the first “test-tube baby” in Austria was celebrated there – one of the first children worldwide to be born this way. The Wunschbaby Institut was founded in 1983. Ever since, we have been regarded as pioneers and one of the leading clinics worldwide – more than 30,000 children have been born with our help.
