Psychotherapeutic support.

For many couples, children are a living expression of their relationship and the completion of their family. This makes the absence of the longed-for child all the more painful and hurtful.

When the soul suffers too

An unfulfilled wish for a child is an emotional burden.

Questions arise such as: “What are we doing wrong?”, “Is something wrong with us?”, “Can we have children at all?”

The diagnosis of not being able to conceive a child spontaneously usually triggers deep distress and a feeling of helplessness. Feelings of shame and inadequacy set in, because something as “normal” as having children is not working.

Bringing body, mind and soul back into balance

The feeling that your own body is letting you down creates anger, fear, sadness, hopelessness and often also the urge to withdraw. These feelings often cannot be controlled and can have negative effects on the body and hormonal balance.

To create optimal conditions for conception, it is therefore important to bring body, mind and soul back into good balance.

Psychotherapeutic conversations can accompany the couple in finding solutions that allow them to see and feel more “positive” emotions again, such as confidence and calm.

What support can achieve

How therapeutic support can help the couple.

Inner strengths

Reconnecting with your own inner strengths and the strengths of your relationship.

Reviving the partnership

Reviving the partnership and finding your way back to each other as a couple.

Alternative activities

Instead of focusing exclusively on the child that has not yet arrived, engaging more in alternative activities again – contact with friends and family, sport, travel, culture, simple shared moments.

Well-being

Returning to a good physical and emotional state – with positive effects on self-esteem and the hoped-for conception.

Making decisions

Finding good solutions when decisions arise in the course of the necessary medical treatment.

Psychological causes

Recognising and processing possible psychological causes so that the body can open itself to the desired pregnancy.

For the hard moments along the way

Some situations cut particularly deep. For these we have put together dedicated pages with concrete help: after a negative test – what helps now and how things continue – and coping with miscarriage – grief, recovery and new hope.
